Students who already have family responsibilities would face even greater pressure. In such cases, paid work might harm academic progress rather than improve it.

A better approach would be for universities to offer optional part-time opportunities and short internships with flexible hours. Career advisers could help students choose positions related to their interests, while those who need to focus on study could gain experience through university projects or volunteering.

In conclusion, part-time work can teach useful skills and provide financial support, but it should remain a choice. Universities should encourage relevant experience without making paid employment a requirement for every student.
